Victoria Soto; a true hero.

This is Victoria Soto. She died a hero on the 14/12/12.

Last Friday’s shooting massacre in Newtown, Connecticut was horrible to say the least. 27 people were killed (20 of which were kids between the age of 6-7) when Lanza went on a shooting spree inside the school. If it wasn't for this young courageous woman the number would have surely been higher. 

Victoria hid her first graders in the cabinets and closets after hearing the gunfire. When the shooter came to her classroom, she told him that her students were in the gym. He then gunned her down and moved on. She saved the lives of all of her students.

This is a person that shows us why the human race is something special.
Without people like her, the world would be a worse place.
She is a true angel and will always be remembered as a hero.

 

It's times like these when we have to remember that heroes don't always wear capes, and Victoria is a clear example of this.


All of my prayers go out to all those that are somehow affected by this horrible tragedy.
